We want you to enter with confidence, so here is how our competitions fit within the rules.
The Gambling Commission explains that free draws and prize competitions can be run for commercial gain and do not need a gambling licence, provided they meet the requirements of the Gambling Act 2005 that keep them outside the legal definition of a lottery. A genuine free entry route is a key part of that.
SPG Competitions & Giveaways UK is designed around those requirements. We also use the UK Government’s Voluntary Code of Good Practice for Prize Draw Operators as our benchmark for player protection, transparency and accountability.
