Wallace Dance Academy A trading name of Stevenson Professional Group Ltd. These terms apply to students joining Wallace Dance Academy. For students under 18, registration must be completed by a parent or person with parental responsibility. Adult students must complete their own registration. Please provide accurate contact details, an emergency contact and any information we need to support safe participation. Tell us promptly about changes. Your class allocation, fees, payment arrangements and class calendar will be confirmed before you commit to joining. Fees are payable in advance on the 1st of every month. The parent, carer or adult student responsible for the account must ensure payment reaches us on time. Your fee confirmation will explain what the monthly payment covers, including whether fees are spread across the year and how school holidays are treated. If payment is overdue, we will contact the account holder with a reminder and a deadline. Failure to pay by that deadline, or agree a payment arrangement, may result in attendance being suspended and the student losing their place. We will give written notice before releasing a place to another student. If you are experiencing payment difficulties, please contact us promptly. Missing a class does not automatically cancel fees for a reserved place. Refunds, credits and cancellation charges will be assessed fairly, taking account of the circumstances and your statutory rights. Students should attend regularly and arrive ready for class. Please notify us of absences. To leave or cancel a class place, notify us in writing using our published contact details. We will confirm the leaving date and any final payment or refund. Any notice period must be clearly stated and agreed before enrolment; these terms do not impose an additional minimum membership period. Tell us about relevant medical conditions, allergies, injuries, disabilities or support needs, and update us when anything changes. We will discuss appropriate support and reasonable adjustments. Students must follow staff instructions, wear suitable dancewear and footwear, and behave respectfully. Bullying, harassment and unsafe behaviour are unacceptable. Parents and carers must follow agreed drop-off and collection arrangements and tell us about changes to authorised collection. Dance involves physical activity and some risk of injury. We will take reasonable care to provide safe teaching and supervision. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for negligence or restricts your statutory rights. Students may be invited to shows, rehearsals, competitions and other events. Participation is optional. We will provide dates, venue, supervision arrangements, rehearsal commitments and additional costs before asking you to confirm participation. Costume, ticket, travel or entry costs are not agreed simply by joining the Academy. For children, we will obtain event-specific permission. General interest does not authorise every future event, travel arrangement or overnight stay. Performances remain subject to appropriate safeguarding arrangements and any required licences or approvals. With appropriate consent, we may photograph or film students in classes, rehearsals, shows and events to celebrate achievements and promote the Academy. Promotional photography and video permission is optional. Refusing or withdrawing it will not affect a student’s class place or teaching. Choose separately whether photographs and videos may be published on our website or official social media accounts. Permission does not extend to livestreaming, paid advertising or selling recordings; we will seek separate permission for these uses. We will not publish a child’s full name alongside their image without separate permission. We will respect a student’s wishes if they do not want to be photographed or filmed, even where parental permission has been given. Website and social media content may be viewed, copied or shared by others. Social media platforms also handle information under their own privacy policies. You can withdraw permission at any time using our published contact details. We will stop the relevant use and remove content under our control without undue delay. Withdrawal does not make earlier lawful use unlawful. We cannot guarantee removal of copies independently downloaded or shared by others, but will take reasonable steps where possible. Parents, carers and audiences must follow venue and event photography rules. Do not publish identifiable images of other children without appropriate permission. Photography and filming are prohibited in changing areas. If we cancel a paid class and cannot agree a suitable replacement, we will offer an appropriate credit or refund for the cancelled teaching. We will explain proposed changes to fees or material membership terms in advance. You may leave before a material change takes effect without an additional penalty for doing so. Nothing in these terms removes statutory cancellation, refund or consumer rights. Our Privacy Notice explains how Stevenson Professional Group Ltd, trading as Wallace Dance Academy, uses registration details, emergency contacts, health information and images, including retention periods, sharing arrangements and your rights. Raise payment queries, complaints or permission changes through our published contact details (07771 910742). Safeguarding concerns should be raised promptly with our designated safeguarding lead.
